MAREEBA RESULTS AND REPORT

The Mareeba Golf Course was in excellent condition for the 59 players (50 men and 9 ladies) who played an 18 hole Individual Stableford competition this morning.. The greens where the speediest and flattest we have played on  this year. Congratulation to Karl and his team of volunteers.

 FNQVGA plays an 18 Hole individual Stableford Competition, for Men and Ladies  in the Consistence series on Tuesday at the Mareeba Golf Course. There has been no rain in over a week, and Course Green keeper Karl has informed us the team is preparing the course on schedule for the MAREEBA  OPEN on April 20 and 21.

RESULTS GORDONVALE TUESDAY 2 APRIL

 

A gallant field 48 players (43 men and 5 ladies) attempted to take advantage of the "lift , clean and place rule" at Gordonvale this morning, but, alas most were unsuccessful. The highest score was 37 Stableford points  and the lowest was a diminutive 9! 

A brilliant rainbow and its inverted reflection!

We had three new members join us today. Robin Jeffries (Torquay Vic), Colin Johannsen (returning from Cairns) Leo Leonard (HMB). Welcome.

Our very generous sponsor today was Davidson Coaching. Mark touched down for the day between a golfing sojourn to Tasmania and King Island , and flies off tonight to Perth. Apparently you have to go that far to find a dry track! Thanks Mark.
